The State Conservation Commission (SCC) provides resources for conservation district supervisors and staff as part of our statutory role to guide and assist conservation districts. Much of [the] information provided [on the "Governance Resources," link to the left] is in consultation with legal and tax experts, but it is not legal or tax advice.
The mission of the Pend Oreille Conservation District is to protect and enhance all natural resources including, but not limited to: air, soil, forest, wildlife, water, and land in the district through education, partnerships, and implementation using best management practices and financial/technical assistance.
We hold regular board meetings the 2nd Thursday of each month. While meetings are typically located at 121. N. Washington Ave. Newport, WA 99156, due to COVID we are currently holding virtually meetings. Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org for a link to join these meetings.
